Amtrak says ND rails extremity $100 million in masterpiece Think.




DEVILS LAKE (AP) - Amtrak said $100 million in upgrades is needed to bridges and course in the Devils Lake territory if commuter secondment is to be maintained to the municipality of Devils Lake, Rugby and Grand Forks. Spokesman Marc Magliari said BNSF Railway will present any calls on suspending Empire Builder accommodation in that territory because it owns the track, even though it no longer uses it. He said Amtrak would reckon with any discontinuing evanescent but that once servicing is interrupted it could be a while before it would be restored. Magliari said a rerouted Empire Builder would go from Minot to Fargo, bypassing northeast North Dakota. He said if Congress provides funding for upgrades, they would plagiarize two construction seasons to complete.
