A exequies serving was held at Ebenezer AME Church, Capeville, on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Vanessa Copeland officiated.



Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by John O. Morris Funeral Home, Nassawadox. Olga Birch, 88, mate of William V. Birch and a remaining of Chincoteague Island, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at her residence. A calling will be held today, Dec. 13, from 7-9 p.m. at Salyer Funeral Home, Chincoteague.






A cremation utility will be held Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, Chincoteague. The Rev. Travis DeLoach, the Rev. Kevin Eley and the Rev. John Thorne will officiate.



Interment will be in Bunting Cemetery, Chincoteague. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market St., Onancock, VA 23417; American Cancer Society, c/o Paula Belote, P.O. Mildred Burton, 77, a regional of Cheriton, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at her residence. A inhumation care was held at African Baptist Church, Cheriton, on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. The Rev. C.F. Mapp officiated.

Douglas observer arrested in Ecstasy poke about
