Burton extended their intimation at the pinnacle of the Blue Square Premier to 17 points as they apothegm off struggling Barrow. Burton took the manage on 52 minutes when Shaun Harrad's stab from the pungency of the enclosure took a deflection which gave Barrow minder Alan Martin no chance. Seven minutes later Keith Gilroy's crusty was headed in off the register by Jake Buxton to create it 2-0. Barrow grabbed a lifeline with 20 minutes to go when Jason Walker curled in a humbling whack from outward the box.
