Cascade seeks Burton green intriguer

With 80 acres north of Burton Street and east of Cascade Road now in township hands, the Cascade Board of Trustees has voted to petition mould bids for the Burton Street Park. Supervisor Robert Beahan, Clerk Ron Goodyke, Planner Steve Peterson, and Township Manager Bill Cousins recently toured the real estate with outline architect Pat Cornelisse, who has contracted with the township on several other projects, including Tassel Park and Downtown Development Authority rehabilitation projects. Saying they were "extremely happy" with Cornelisse's prior work, the meals opted for a tender manipulate rather than instinctual adoption of her proposal.

"I would liking for to court it go out for bid, just to foretell what ideas come forward-looking from particular professionals," said Trustee Cynthia Fox. Trustee Fred Goldberg agreed. "Every now and again, we should consult what the retail has to offer," he said.

Some bull session about recalling Open Space Committee members for ideas ensued, but officials agreed with Planner Peterson. "We already have a unspoilt notion of what they would feel favourably impressed by for the space," he said.
