WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Outgoing President George Bush port a familiar memorandum for Barack Obama in the drawer of the Oval Office desk, White House aides said Tuesday. A close note from the departing president awaiting the new commander in primary is a tradition, MSNBC reported. Obama was to be sworn in as the 44th U.S. president just before noonday Tuesday.
Aides would not expose the contents of the news Bush progressive in the drawer Monday, saying the dispatch was private. Bush's finish darkness in the White House included some visitors -- his parents, last President and Barbara, who told reporters her son was "a teeny emotional" on his ultimate end of day as president.
