Irish Poems. Readers' urban limericks 2009 Hear.




In revelry of St. Patrick’s Day, Boston.com asked readers to shoot in their “urban limericks.” The poems had to follow the old five-line Irish pose and be interdependent to Boston.



After receiving scores of submissions over the whilom three weeks, a Boston.com panel chose its favorite entries. Here are the Top 10 (including one two-part epic limerick) with topics ranging from Bernie Madoff to Sarah Palin to City Hall Plaza.
