Rock Ages. Bret Michaels injured by set composition at the Tonys Read.

NEW YORK - Bret Michaels ran into some scenery at the Tony Awards. Michaels, comet of the truth show "Rock of Love," took to the level with his hair-metal stripe Poison during the telecast's start-up construction number, featuring performances from the season's Broadway musicals. They performed "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the chuck of "Rock of Ages," and as Michaels exited the stage, a descending set part smacked him on the vanguard and knocked him _ splat! _ to the ground.

Tonys spokeswoman Christina Stejskal says the rocker "missed his mark." Though it looked it, he did not break in his nose. Stejskal did not forthwith distinguish the region of his injury.
