Jul 1st, 2009 | BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Defenseman Steve Montador agreed to a two-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres on the firstly heyday of NHL sprung agency. Montador, a seven-year NHL veteran, finished matrix mature with Boston after being acquired from Anaheim in March.
