Rick Springfield’s "Jessie’s Girl" is one of those songs that has to all intents and purposes become party of the weather, to the grade that Springfield’s responsibility in it almost doesn’t matter. But the earlier soap-opera distinguished made some really goodness new wave-inspired power-pop records back in the day, including 1981’s near-classic Working Class Dog (which includes "Jessie’s Girl" and several songs nearly as good). These days, notwithstanding his decidedly older-skewing demographic, Springfield continues to agree albums for a children audience-specifically 2009's My Little Precious One: Lullabies For A New Generation , a collecting of songs he wrote for his children.
Here, Springfield plays a terrible four nights, and all of the shows will fitting be packed.
