Ed Koch has unwittingly become a span between Democrats and Republicans. The Democratic ex-mayor, whose dub now adorns the Queensboro Bridge, was surprised to master of an electronic byway representation on the interval endorsing Republican presidential contender Ron Paul. The countersign had plainly been hacked, and alternated between a bridge-washing perceive and a message: "Ron Paul 2012.
" A Department of Transportation spokesman said the factional blurb had been deactivated. Koch was not amused. "I hankering they allot him and carry through him," Koch said. "I don't have anything against Ron Paul," he said.
"I'm not voting for him, but I do have something against the mock who hacked the sign." A Paul spokesman could not be reached for comment.
